The process
Five practical steps
- Explore the modelsCompare shapes, room sizes, heat sources and options. The model pages show current standard configurations and let you build a useful starting point.
- Confirm the site and quoteBurnwell reviews the address, base, access and chosen configuration. The written quote identifies what is included and any site-specific work that needs separate pricing.
- Approve the orderRead the quote and agreement, ask questions, and submit the stated deposit when you are ready. A 50% deposit is common, but the exact written terms control.
- Prepare the propertyComplete the agreed base, clear the delivery route and arrange any owner-supplied permits, electrical work or other site work before the scheduled date.
- Install and walk throughBurnwell delivers and professionally installs within the confirmed scope, then reviews the completed build with you and follows the balance terms in the signed agreement.
Choosing well
The key decisions happen early.
Room and layout
Start with how many people you want to seat, whether a porch or change area matters, the view you want to frame and the space available on the property.
Wood or electric heat
The right choice depends on the model, room volume, glazing, available electrical service and the ritual you want. Six-foot-diameter Classic and Premium Barrels are wood-burning only; the Indoor Sauna is electric.
Base and access
A flat, stable base and a workable path to the site are essential. Tell Burnwell about narrow gates, steep grades, docks, islands and overhead obstacles before the quote is finalized.
Options and finish
Doors, windows, porches, cladding and heater upgrades can change both the build and the installation. Put every selected option in the written configuration.
Timing and coverage
The current written scope is the reliable answer.
Many standard estimates use approximately three to four weeks from a cleared deposit, but supplier schedules, custom work, season and site readiness can change the timing. The date or estimate in the current quote controls.
Delivery is included within Burnwell’s mapped Southern and Central Ontario service boundary. Exact coverage is confirmed by address. Difficult access, cranes, barges, foundations, electrical work and other site services are included only when written into the quote.
