A classic for a reason.
White cedar is light, tight-grained and the traditional sauna wood. Choose a compact 6′ diameter, a 7′ with room to stretch out, or an 8′ two-tier with benches on two levels, and add a porch or changeroom if you want somewhere to sit outside or towel off. Six-foot-diameter barrels are wood-burning only; the 7′ and 8′ sizes can be electric.
